Pavlova oh Pavlova

Pavlova oh pavlova...
Jadi jugak nak buat pavlova..tapi tak cukup topping...bedal je taruk bluberry filling dengan buah pic....manis la plak,,,
lain kali tak payah taruk blueberry nie ,,manis tak ngamla..
Anyway Pavlova sendiri tu je dah sedap,  memang sedap..(perasan kan..)
Mestilah sedap mummy yang buat...

Chocolate Praline


My first attempt to make my on chocolate Praline(tah betul tah nama dia...hentam je nie...).
I use Beryl's darK chocolate,White chocolate and Milk Chocolate.
Mak budak, bapak budak, budak budak semua suka..coklat ade ke yang tak suka?

Petang Deepavali ..tetiba terasa boring nak buat kerje. So selak resepi, jumpa resepi Cream Puff.
Buat first time tak jadi...ish takleh jadi ...buat lagi seround...jadi ..yea....tapi dah disebabkan dah petang sangat maleh nak buat kastard cream filling....so I guna je cream cheese and melted dark chocolate as a filling and drizzle...

Sedap di tekak sendiri..

nak buat untuk jual...? kena praktis lagi dan kira costing dulu..

Yea....daddy went for pertandingan memancing Udang Harimau..Daddy win again , 2nd price...Hamper je....tapi tak kisahlah, cukup stok biskut kat rumah untuk 2 minggu...budak budak apa lagi ..suka la...selagi tak habis hamper tu..selagi tu la,,,suh bukak biskut  tu...tapi biskut coklat jelah..
Yang paling tak laku adalah Cream Crakers...

11.10.11 is a very beautiful number but my age number is not anymore....I'am getting old, new resolution, upgrade my appearance a bit...groom and look more presentable, .....but still stick to my favourite desert,,cheese cake,  this time...oreo base cheese cake topped with dark and white chocolate ganache. I use beryl's.It is so soft, creamy and not to sweet.

Udang Harimau..Besar Punya!!!!

Hmmm…asyik asyik cupcake je….kali nie makanan  lain plak. Tapi untuk makan makan je….Baru baru nie my Dear Hubby masuk pertandingan memancing udang….bila dikumpulkan beberapa hari memancing adala dapat dalam 3 kilo…udang harimau…
Apalagi dia request buat rendang udang….hm…apa susah hheheheh,,,buat je cam rendang biasa, tapi taruk udang.

Apa kata kita cuba benda lain plak…baru baru nie teringat balik I pernah kemaruk makan cheese tart…ada satu akak tu dia buat comel comel ,,,sekali ngap je masuk mulut…mmm so heaven…jenuh la dok cari no akak tu kalau kalau ada…pastu I piker balik….daripada beli ..apakata buat sendiri…..
Hmmmmm…Dgn sokongan Dear Hubby…I pun googlelah cecara nak buat cheese tart….mai aihh…Nampak cam senang tapi bila baca balik Nampak cam susah...tambah tambah bahagian crust dia...ish camna  nie…I pun survey la my nearest Bakers shop….Waaa,,best  nyer dia dah ada jual crust ready made la….try je dulu…
So …Crust ready made size M +filling buat sendiri…..
Resepi cheese tart  I dapat dari sini…sariyusa.blogspot memang bagus…dan inilah hasilnya….first time buat ..Ok la kan…

Penghibur hati.....

Hidup nie macam roda..kejap kita diatas…kejap kita dibawah…walaupun sebenarnya I tak  pernah merasa berada diatas..asyik dibawah je…..tapi dgn adanya kawan kawan yang memahami , bila berada dibawah..taklah terasa sangat…adalah penghibur hati..

Cupcake juga  merupakan penghibur hati I …Baunya yang semerbak bila dia siap dibakar dan rupa yang menarik bila siap dihias….(perasan).

My cupcakes


I start to bake using the recipe from the cupcake class…I bawa ke opis untuk introduce kat kawan kawan…Dalam hati…kalau ada yang suka, harap boleh buat  bisness…J

Nak tgk design dia….apa lagi ..mestilah tiru design cikgu punya…tapi I ubah la skit ngan bentuk bunga dia sebab I tak pandai lagi nak buat perfect rossettes and swirls big rose cam cikgu I buat tu…
Kengkawan opis banyak bagi comment….Insyallah akan saya perbaiki mana yang kurang.

Cupcake Class

Bila kononnye dah tau camana nak buat cupcake..mulalah berangan nak mendecorate….apa lagi…I pun merayau la di internet mencari idea camana nak mendecorate..…hmmmmm…tak leh jadi nie…….nie kena cari cikgu nie…..buat sendiri asyik tak jadi je……….Lalu terjumpalah satu blog nie..ada menawarkan kelas belajar buat cupcake dan mendecorate…terus jatuh cinta dengan semua decoration cupcake dalam blog tu…..tanpa berlengah….terus hantar email dan booking untuk kelas tu…RM 150 tapi bagi I berbaloi…
Cupcake class…
dear hubby hantar ke rumah cikgu..before 9 dah sampai…cikgu dah menunggu, berdebar debar rasanyer….lama lama cam ok sebab…semua student lain very friendly dan kak edi nie peramah…masa belajar ..dia banyak bagi tips…

Dgn ajarannye dari A- Z….bancuh tepung sampaila bakar kek….Dari buat icing sampai la mendecorate cupcake tu sampai lawa….(cupcake I tk le lawa ..tapi puas hati la sebab dapat mencuba..).

My first cake

My first attempt to bake cakes..it turns disaster, the cake too sweet and the texture turns to “bantat” hhaaha keras…..cam bantut la gitu…huhuhuhu.

Nak tgk gambar dia …nia ha….cam kelakar ….leper gitu..rasa boleh tahan la sebab coklat …tetap boleh makan sebab ada rasa coklat….
Anyway it does not stop me from baking again….

Resepi: Orange Raisin Cupcakes

I hop around the internet looking for recipe and method for baking…
 I decided to change may strategy…. try do cupcakes….. they say that the chances of the cake turns to ‘bantat’ is very low, senang nak makan …sekali ngap je ….kalau tak habis tak payah susah susah nak simpan balance kek….betul jugak……
Mmmmm... akhirnya jadik jugak la cup cake tu……my hubby kata sedap…. leh buat lagi….
Nak tgk hasil dia????Orange and raisin cupcake.
Resepi dia I ambil dari…blog niehttp://www.bisousatoi.com……Sicilian orange cake…tapi I terpengaruh dgn satu  blogger terkenal Chef mat gebu……….menderhakakan resepi…
I tambahkan bahan dia ..dgn 2 sudu besar oren sunquick  dan ½ cup raisins…sebab husband I suka orange and anak anak I suka makan raisins..yum yum….licin….buat sekali tak cukup….

Ingredients
250 g lightly salted butter, at room temperature, plus extra for greasing
250 g caster sugar
4 medium eggs
1 1/2 tsp finely grated orange zest
250 g self raising flour (i used plain flour and add 1 tsp of baking powder) 
85 ml freshly squeezed orange juice


For the icing:
125 g icing sugar
5 tsp freshly squeezed orange juice

Method
Preheat the oven to 170C. Grease and line a 22-cm clip-sided round cake with non-stick baking paper.

Using an electric whisk, cream the butter and sugar together for 4-5 minutes until very pale. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, beating very well between each one, if necessary adding a spoonful of flour with the last egg to prevent the mixture from curdling. Beat in the orange zest. Add the flour all at once and mix in well, then slowly mix in the orange juice.

Spoon the mixture into the prepared tin and bake on the middle shelf of the oven for 45-50 minutes or until a skewer, inserted into the centre of the cake, comes out clean. If it starts to brown too quickly, cover loosely with a sheet of lightly buttered foil.

Leave the cake, in its tin, to cool on a wire rack, then carefully remove the sides and base of the tin and peel off the paper. Put it onto a serving plate.

For the icing, sift the icing sugar into a bowl and stir in the orange juice until you have a spreadable consistency. Spread it over the top of the cake, letting it drip down the sides, and leave to set. Serve cut into slices, and store any leftovers in an airtight container
